 Laloue, Eugene Galien

E. Galien Laloue had more pseudonyms than any other artist.  Even major reference books like the "Benezit" show his pseudonyms as if they were different artists.

Eugene left school at 16 years and joined the Prussian army.  When he left there all he wanted was to paint and that is what he dedicated himself to, depicting all of Paris between 1870 and 1940.  He painted nautical scenes of ports such as Marseille and Bateaux.  Some of his works are shown in the Salon de Artistes Francais; l'Ecole Francaise, Paris Moderne at Monte Carlo, Orleans, Hautecoeur, Geneve.

He died at the age of 87.
